Now that spring has sprung I am looking at my back yard and thinking about planting a vegetable garden. It is remarkably more expensive for me to produce my own food, than it is to shop at the local grocery store, and yet it is appealing to me to think of a garden full of fresh organic produce that my hands caused to be planted.
In doing research for my garden, I found a source for seeds, www.eatabbo.org, and will be gathering some friends to prepare the garden with me, as my back is not ready for me to be getting up and down, shoveling, or anything else garden related. We will all have fun. That’s for sure!
