The Naked Chef

You may or may not know that I have been “struggling with my weight” and with obesity since I was a child. I have been blessed with information, connections and the drive to apply what I’ve learned about food to my own life, and have been moderately successful with shedding my weight.

There are millions of children in families out there who don’t have that information or connections, and that’s a very scary prospect. This year’s TED Prize went to one of my favorite chef’s, Jamie Oliver, also known as The Naked Chef. Jamie’s new show, Food Revolution, premiered last week on ABC.

Please take a look at his TED Prize acceptance speech and become as inspired as I am by his example and his leadership to alleviate obesity:

wow i knew it was bad but this TED talk clarified a lot.. IT’S BAD

time for action.. use whatever means to spread the word..
