Today’s Batch of Flax Seed Crackers

flax crackers

I just popped a batch of flax crackers into the dehydrator. I tried something new this time, I blended the wheat sprouts from my last two batches of rejuvelac with some leftover almond flour from a batch of almond milk and the water from the flax cracker recipe, and used that to moisten the flax seeds.

This time I also tried two different seasoning combinations for the crackers. One is caraway seeds and Celtic sea salt, and the other is bulk Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. I added one teaspoon of Celtic sea salt to the Italian crackers. We’ll see how all that turns out!

Looks like a good recipe. I’ve been wanting to make crackers. I have been on a 75% raw diet for several months and realize that I feel a lot better when I am on it. My husband isn’t so it makes it tough, but I’m going to keep on trying. Liz
